Where do I begin? Well, for starters, I met Keith two years ago when i had the honor of photographing his lovely daughter, Kathleen’s wedding. Now, I am photographing Keith and Jes’ wedding this September! So, naturally, we had Jes and Keith’s engagement session at their horse farm in Princeton, NJ – Little Valley Stables. Jes mentioned she wanted to incorporate their new foal “Sid” into the photos … so we did just that, and incorporated a bunch of other rustic – like details, too! Did I mention how funny it was when Sid almost charged at me? It’s always a challenge working with animals and shoots, but this session was definitely fun for sure! I can’t wait for their wedding in September! 🙂
Rustic Farm Engagement Photos
How did you two meet?
We met when I (Jes) boarded my horse at Keith’s horse farm.
How did he pop the question?
He took me on a horse back ride around our farm to where he had set up a picnic of all my absolute favorite foods (caviar, lobster bisque, pan seared scallops with a camping stove and pan, and lobster rolls) and wine and he tied the ring around one of the wine glasses for me to find.
What is the Groom’s favorite food? What is the Bride’s favorite food?
Keiths favorite food is homemade chicken parm. Jes’ favorite food is Mac and Cheese!
What is your favorite memory together?
Our favorite memory together is when we went for really long rides and raced our horses across the fields at top speed. 🙂
