J+K’s romantic North Jersey wedding was one of my favorite weddings I got to photograph alongside Vanessa Joy Photography. This couple was Portuguese and incorporated their heritage into their wedding day which was great! I loved J’s long, cathedral length scalloped veil – it literally made her look like an angel walking around all day! K’s dapper and classic black tux look fit him perfectly and his groomsmen stood by him in matching tuxedos with suspenders for an added touch.

When J arrived to the church I noticed their ring bearer peek through the front church doors which was adorable! J saw him peeking out and she smiled so sweetly. After a beautiful Catholic Mass, we headed to Newark for some photos in the park and then made our way to the venue. The ballroom was decorated so elegantly with lots of floral centerpieces and even a huge tiered cake! The floral arrangements were a beautiful mixture of hydrangeas, roses, dahlia’s and more. The florals were all different shades of pinks and whites with some added greenery to complete the design. Check out some more images below!
