New Jersey Engagement Photos :: Nicole and Michael

I love when I get to photograph my couples, before their wedding day. Nicole and Michael’s New Jersey engagement photos were one of those sessions I enjoyed – despite some crazy weather we had. I loved chatting with Nicole and Mike about themselves, and their wedding plans. I honestly love learning about the couples I work with and hearing about Nicole and Mike’s relationship really made me excited to photograph their wedding.

Nicole and Mike met many moons ago, but reconnected years later. Fast forward to today, they’re engaged, he’s an officer and she works at a dental office and I could tell the two were each other’s biggest fans and support. I’ll never forget how sweet Mike was to Nicole when she took her jacket off and he offered to hang it on the fence for her. You may think that’s a tiny gesture, but those small gestures add up!

The best part of the session was probably how I got these two to interact and then naturally laugh with one another. 🙂

How did you two meet?

We met through mutual friends years before we started dating.

Describe the proposal

He proposed to me at laurita winery. I was there having a girls day and we were taking pictures by the fire pit when he tapped me on the shoulder. When I turned around he was on his knee.
