Stephanie & Jason :: Engaged::
Skylands Manor Engagement Photos
Where does one begin?! When I first sat down with Stephanie and Jason a few weeks ago to discuss their wedding, I felt like we knew each other. We chatted over coffee, laughed and could relate on many different levels. Their Skylands Manor engagement photos are some of my favorite photos! We covered so much ground at this park and I couldn’t be more excited to share these images with you today. I loved the outfits they chose – Stephanie wore a CeCe Off the Shoulder Maxi Dress paired with some Vince Camuto Corlina Ankle Strap Sandals in nude leather -all from Nordstrom! Jason sported 7 For All Mankind jeans, Banana Republic shoes, a Calvin Klein jacket and he tied his dapper look together with an Invicta watch! These two were styling and it felt like a dreamy garden engagement session.
I cannot wait for their Florentine Gardens wedding next year!

How did he propose?
It was a Monday night and I was running late since I got a massage near work. I come home and Jason tells me that the air conditioner in the bedroom broke. He said he cleaned up all the water with towels and told me that the water went all the way to my dresser. I was horrified! I started walking to the bedroom and telling Jason that we should call the super. I walk in and I look at the air conditioning, it looks fine to me. There are no towels and no water under the dresser. I am looking back and forth from the air conditioning to my bed (totally confused since my bed is made) and on my comforter, Jason spelled out “will you marry me” with rose petals and on the edge is a mauve colored mug that says “you’re my person” and the ring box with the engagement ring is resting in the center of the mug. I was shocked and caught totally off guard. It was perfect!
How did you two meet?
We met on eHarmony in August of 2015. We chatted for 2 months before we had our first date (October 2015).
I love when couples bring champagne and get adventurous! Jason was hilarious when he popped the bottle. 🙂
Seriously, the grounds were amazing at Skylands Manor – it looked like they owned the property 😉
What are you most excited about for your wedding? (Vows, dances, party, etc.)
Standing under the chuppah for the ceremony and reciting the words “Ani L’Dodi V’Dodi Li”
which translates to I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine (it’s from the Bible, Song of Songs).
