Nassau Inn Wedding
Remember the Updike Farmstead wedding from a few months ago? Well, the second shoot in this Princeton styled series of three took place at the Nassau Inn, and it’s even BETTER! As you know, I have been working with Danielle of Magnolia West Events to highlight three different venues around Princeton, along with some AMAZING vendors in the area, and I have to say with each shoot, this just gets better and better! What I love is that each venue is so different from the other; the Nassau Inn is historic, glamorous, and romantic all rolled into one. And once again, the vendors that came together to make this gorgeous day happen had such vision and so much detail – a few of my favorites were the classic Rolls Royce, which made for some AMAZING photos, and the very personalized welcome bags from Homestead. Read on to see who else made this day perfect!
With unique outdoor spaces, and stunning indoor spaces, the Nassau Inn can accommodate any size wedding from 20 to 200, from start to finish. The best part? The Nassau Inn is located in the heart of Palmer Square, right in the middle of Princeton. You can take a break from wedding fun to go for a cupcake, a t-shirt, or even a beer (and so much more!) all within walking just a few minutes. This is totally my kinda place!
While guests at the Nassau Inn are always greeted with a small and warm welcome, Homestead Princeton made the welcome for guests extra special with incredible personalized welcome bags filled with mementos of Princeton, provisions to remind you of home, and extra special treats from stores located right in Palmer Square! These welcome gift bags are the most amazing ones I have EVER seen. I still cannot get over the super cute and detailed Princeton map items! Now you know you want an invitation to this wedding!
As with every wedding, the invitations set the tone. Lace and Belle did not disappoint with her stunning black and clear plexi invites, penned in handwritten calligraphy. Utilizing this black, white and clear theme, our awesome vendors put on their creative thinking caps and used those colors and details throughout the day.
Our bride began her glamorous wedding day with a fab glam squad from Salon Pure coming to visit at the Nassau Inn. After our stunning model Brooke was camera ready, she slipped into the first of two gowns by Pronovias. Each gown was stunning on Brooke; a huge shout out to Castle Couture for providing these gorgeous dresses for our shoot!
While our bride was getting ready, let’s not forget our groom! Tye was outfitted in two classic, yet dynamically different, tuxes provided by Chazmatazz.
And of course, what’s a wedding without the jewelery?? Hamilton Jewelers, a timeless jeweler in New Jersey, with a history dating back to 1912, provided the most incredible pieces for our bride and groom. An oval center stone engagement ring graced our bride’s hand, matched up with a diamond wedding band, while pearl and diamond earrings were in her ears (serving as a great wedding day gift!). Our groom wore a platinum wedding band, along with a classic black band watch, borrowed from Hamilton.
Danielle, of Magnolia West Events, and my partner in crime in these styled shoots, is so creative and such a…..visionary. Just like our last shoot, she takes what is around and adds her own details to put together tables and floral design that is to die for. Her talent is absolutely unparalleled and I love her to pieces! This time around, she took the courtyard at the Nassau Inn, overlooking Palmer Square, and with the help of Vision Furniture‘s Opus chairs, gold sequin runner, and plexi backdrop (how cool is that?!), made this a modern ceremony in the heart of history. Add in the stunning florals of green and white by Dahlia’s owner Adriene, and the ceremony comes together perfectly. When it came time for the reception, Danielle continued to bring together our vision by incorporating glam details into the rich, traditional ballroom, with just enough modern to tie everything together for the most swoon worth wedding a couple could ask for.
Speaking of details, Vision Furniture provided the modern furniture to help tie this all together. From the smoky lucite chairs with the ivory sequined table linens, to the clear lucite chairs with the long mirrored table, both looks in the tradition ballroom helped make our wedding beautiful. Add in the custom marbled dance floor from Bombshell Graphics, which by the way is a cling (!), and you have a completely unique and personalized part of the wedding. This gorgeous floor just happened to coordinated perfectly with the custom three tier marbled cake by Caketeria, by far one of the best places around for incredibly unique cakes that are so yummy!
From start to finish, each and every piece of this day made for a magically modern, glamorous wedding right in the heart of rich, historical Princeton! I am so grateful to Danielle and all of the vendors that took part in the day, as we could not have done this without each of them and their incredible talents!
