Mexico Destination Wedding by Jaye Kogut Photography
Greetings! It is with great pleasure that I bring to you this amazing Mexico destination wedding held at Playacar Palace in Cancun, Mexico! A few months ago (yes, I know – still catching up on blogging hah!) I photographed a wedding with Vanessa Joy. C + V tied the knot at a GORGEOUS resort on the beach and I am just so excited to share it with you today! The whole trip was fantastic and I’d also like to Thank C + V for having me as one of their photographers and also celebrating my birthday since it was the day after their wedding! I felt like family and it was so awesome being a part of the family for the whole weekend hehe…:) I began the day covering grooms prep and it was so much fun talking with V the morning of his wedding. He was so excited, all smiles and so ready to see his beautiful bride. Lookin’ sharper than ever, he sported some serious ‘GQ’ as I like to call it, and wore a gray vest and pants, white shoes and complimented it with a white belt and tie.
Grabbing that classic cologne spray shot… oh yeah!
The morning of the wedding, C gifted her hubby-to-be a watch engraved with their initials and wedding date.
Some lovely wedding ceremony details…
How adorable is the flower girl? 🙂
Here was the best surprise, V got C a surprise *extra* wedding band to go with her ring. NO ONE knew about it, not even us photographers – just V and his dad knew. It was so sweet and C was so surprised. It was a great moment to capture!
Hooray! They’re married! 🙂
Dancing by the water!
We went into town which was just a short walk away – the bridal party was so much fun and joked around. I just love this photo I snapped of one of the bridesmaids and the flower girl who was actually her daughter. She was so sleepy – it was a sweet moment.
The dapper groomsmen and the lovely ladies!
Time for some bride and groom portraits..
Some vibrant bride and groom photos to really brighten the day!
The end of the day C+V had their guests surround them on the patio of the resort with sparklers as they enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife. It was sweet and even better that the guests got to participate and surround them with light.
A sweet ending to a beautiful day. Congratulations C + V. Thank you for having me!
