Jersey City Courthouse Wedding

They met at law school and the rest is history…

Radha and Andy reached out to me to document their last minute Jersey City courthouse wedding ceremony.  They had initially planned a very low key ceremony with an intimate family dinner afterwards but eventually turned into a bigger full blown production (as Radha stated herself hehe). I have to admit, when I arrived that afternoon to photograph their nuptuals, it was not as full blown as I thought it would be and Radha and Andy’s families were so warm and welcoming. Two families, from completely different heritages were coming together to unite as one big family.  There were two traditions celebrated at the end of the ceremony. The first was the breaking of the glass by the bride and groom as per Jewish tradition. The second was the breaking of a clay cup by the groom as per Hindu tradition to represent Radha’s heritage.

After a beautiful ceremony, friends and family gathered at Satis Bistro for some delicious food and drinks and toasts to the bride and groom! Congratulations Radha and Andy!
