Deborah & Eddie :: Engaged ::
Hoboken Engagement Photos
Oh my gosh guys, I’m literally grinning from ear to ear with all the amazing couples I’ve been able to work with lately. A little over a week ago, I photographed Deborah and Eddie’s Hoboken engagement photos. The weather was PERFECT and the sun kept creeping through the clouds which made it effortless to get that awesome bright glow to their photos. Deborah and Eddie have a beautiful connection – Eddie kept making Deborah laugh at our session and he was quite the gentleman to his lady! While these two have been attending weddings for a while (They actually say their love story is like the movie Wedding Crashers!) its finally their time to vow to each other in June 2018. I can’t wait for the big day at Bear Brook Valley!
I always share some outfit inspiration and I absolutely loved Deb’s choice of Stitchfix (yas!) jeans and a Vince Camuto shirt and shoes!
Eddie casually complimented Deb so well in his Banana Republic jeans, Lord and Taylor shirt and Sperry shoes. These two even brought some awesome
Props along to their shoot!

How did you two meet?
We met at work, where I actually was his boss (Eddie’s favorite thing to say). We knew each of each other at work and I always loved his laugh
and thought he was cute. You could say we were connected by a mutual friend – he nearly fainted when he saw us
kissing at the bar when we all went out to celebrate St Patty’s day in 2011.
Describe the proposal
For eddies birthday, I got him a night away for us at Crystal Springs resort and two rounds of golf. The plan was for me to go to the spa and pool while he golfed and then enjoy dinner and drinks together. A perfect day for us both! We met back up for drinks in the afternoon at the pool and I was annoyed at Eddie because I thought he was being “weird.” Unbeknownst to me, it was because the ring was burning a hole in his pocket and he was nervous! He arranged this whole ordeal that he would go down to the bar first while I was still getting ready (he needed a way to scope out a spot and get some champagne). I was annoyed that he was going downstairs without me, but I just went with it because I didn’t want to have a fight on our little vacation. He insisted on me getting in the shower before he left, again — weird, so that he could take the huge ring box out of his golf bag (where he had it all day – on the course too!). Finally I was ready and met him at the bar. I called him on my way down and he said he found this cool spot that had a great view and I should meet him there. I asked if he had drinks for us or I should get them. He said he had drinks – finally, a good move! So I get there only to find him on this balcony standing there alone with no drinks! I was like – babe, what the hell! No drinks and you’re on this weird spot all alone? Then he suddenly takes me by the hips and starts saying all of these ridiculously amazing things and then got down on one one knee. All the while I am already screaming and crying. The best moment was that I was so out of it and shocked that I got down on one knee with him! To which he responds, hon, what are you doing down here?
It was an Amazing and perfect moment. We then called and face timed all our friends and family. Lots of screaming and tears and joy. What a night!
What are you most excited about for your wedding? (Vows, dances, party, etc.)
The party! The food! Celebrating with our family and friends! Celebrating OUR love and life together.
How cool is this double garage? 🙂
Deb’s gorgeous ring! Eddie got it from his family jeweler!
