Jillian and Dan :: Married :: Emmerich Tree Farm Wedding
New York Wedding Photographer
I had the pleasure of photographing Jillian and Dan’s Emmerich Tree Farm wedding this past year. Can I just say how awesome tree farms are for weddings? This was my first wedding on a tree farm and it had to be the sweetest and coolest NY wedding I have done! Jillian wore a beautiful, lightweight spaghetti strap gown and embellished it with a cute rhinestone belt. Her bridesmaids wore a blush pink gown with POCKETS! I love the pockets-in-dresses rage going on right now. 🙂 After we got ready at Jillian’s sister’s farmhouse – we headed to Emmerich Tree farm for the first look. Dan looked dapper with his slicked back hair and blue suit and white tie. When he turned to see Jillian it was adorable and so sweet.
After our photo session it was time for the ceremony! Jillian had her father drive her up the path in his antique Cadillac car. However, the funny part of the day was that a tree randomly had one of its HUGE branches fall right in the middle of the path for the car! Thankfully, the owner of the land came to the rescue with a chainsaw and pushed aside broken up logs so Jillian and her dad could make it up the path to the ceremony site. Yay!
After Jillian and Dan exchanged vows, their friends sang a song live to finish the ceremony. It was time to PARTY!
I was able to steal the two lovebirds away for a few minutes during sunset to grab some more AMAZING photos on the property – including the double exposure you see right above. 😉
I just love the image below of Jillian’s sister helping her put her necklace on. So delicate and timeless!
I loved the view at Emmerich Tree Farm – so pretty!
A memorial locket on the bride’s bouquet … so sweet.
I have to admit, I am in love with all of these pocket dresses I see popping up! I especially like how pockets are now incorporated to wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses!
Doesn’t Dan look so dapper? He actually blow dries his hair..according to one of the bridesmaids’ toast speech!
