Crossed Keys Estate Wedding

Mary and Gary

What else do I love almost as much as dogs? Baking (and eating what I bake, of course)! When I saw the homemade cookies at Mary and Gary’s Crossed Keys Estate wedding, and then heard the story behind them….swoon! Read on to see them, and the rest of the story!

Mary and Gary (I love how they just rhyme!) are sooo much fun, and their wedding certainly lived up to who they are. Coupled with an AMAZING venue, Crossed Keys Estate, I could not have asked for a better shooting experience.

The Crossed Keys Estate is an incredible venue for anyone looking for a historic, gorgeous property in Northern New Jersey.  They have an amazing property, filled with history, greenery, and all the makings of a rustic wedding.  From the  romantic Romeo and Juliet balcony to the unique reflecting pool, Crossed Keys Estate makes for amazing photos – which we took full advantage of during the entire wedding day!

While getting ready with the bride, we got to see the homemade cookies (check ’em out below) that were made by Gary’s Mom.  These are the very same cookies that when Gary went to ask Mary’s Dad for her hand, Mary’s Dad asked for Gary’s Mom’s secret cookie recipe in exchange! After getting ready, then  a first look, me moved on to Mary and Gary’s church, where we witnessed their loving vows to one another, followed by quite the event at Crossed Keys!  A highlight: Brian Kirk and the Jirks were there! This is one of Mary’s favorite bands and I loved seeing her light up when they played.

Thank you Mary and Gary for allowing me to be a part of your big day! You shared your love and your stories with me, and for that I am super grateful! You two lovebirds are tons of fun!
