Bear Brook Valley Wedding :: Deb and Eddie
Deb and Eddie’s Bear Brook Valley wedding was a simply spectacular day filled with “elegantly rustic” details and extra special touches that made their North Jersey wedding an unforgettable day!
I knew from the moment I began to work with Deb and Eddie that they were a special couple…so when it was wedding day, I was eagerly anticipating not just a gorgeous and fun-filled day, but a very special one, too! The day started off with lots of fun with the ladies getting ready: from the blush robes to their stunning mismatched blush bridesmaid gowns, from Bill Levkoff, Bari Jay and Adrianna Papell, the beauty was everywhere. As for the men, not only were they having fun, but their attire was something I don’t come across often: custom made suits from from Nova Fashions. Each groomsmen was able to pick out their own design on the inside of the jackets, making each one unique, special, and certainly something they can use for years to come. Perhaps the most touching moment, though, was when Eddie’s Dad gifted him a white handkerchief., but not just any white handkerchief. The handkerchief was a piece of Eddie’s Mom’s wedding gown. Eddie’s Mom had passed away, and this was a very special way to include her in the day. Deb even had part of Eddie’s mother’s gown sewn into her own wedding gown! Everyone that day was emotional. In addition to Eddie’s handkerchief, he also wore custom cuff links that had pictures of he and his Mom from when he was a young boy. These extra special touches, and being able to witness the moments absolutely brought a tear to my eye.
Thank you Deb and Eddie for giving me the honor of capturing your big day! Your very special love for one another shines through in all that you do, and I can’t wait to see you both shine bright for years to come!

We met at work! We were both working at a school and would see each other periodically, but did not interact all that much. Deb always thought that Eddie was cute and funny, but did not have the confidence to make a move. One weekend, we were both out with mutual friends celebrating St. Patty’s day — it was then that Deb decided to take a risk and ask Eddie if he wanted to do a shot with her. The rest is history!
Such a sweet first look! I had tears in my eyes while capturing this moment!
We instantly fell in love with Bear Brook. How could you not!? It is classic and gorgeous from top to bottom. We loved the wood floors, outdoor scenery and laid back vibe. We wanted a fancy wedding BUT had no time for an over the top venue — it just wasn’t “us.” We instantly felt comfortable at Bear Brook — it was beautiful and perfectly different from so many of the other wedding venues that we have been to. we are SO happy with our choice.
How do we even begin to pick one?! The entire day, from start to finish, was simply perfect. It was all that we imagined and more. From getting ready in the suites with our friends, to the amazing first look, to the personalized ceremony led by Deb’s brother, to the ridiculous cocktail hour, to the unreal dance party — we had the times of our lives. We are so happy we took the time to go around to each table during dinner to say thank you and spread our love to our family and friends.
HAVE FUN. take it all in. At the end of the day, the wedding is about you as a couple — make sure it honors your love and it fits your personalities. I think we had so much fun because we felt so relaxed. Everything fit us and felt so right and so good. Remember to take time to look around and sit with the feeling that all of the people you love in your life are in the room to celebrate you both. Be thankful.
